Dr Manya Prasad
Dr. Manya Prasad is an Assistant Professor in the department of Epidemiology and Clinical research, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi. Her areas of expertise include clinical epidemiology, evidence-based medicine, guideline development and public health. She has vast experience in synthesizing evidence in the form of systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Having served as a methodologist in the development of many systematic reviews that informed guideline development, she developed a deep interest in applying the principles of epidemiology in generation and synthesis of good quality evidence. She has over 50 Medline indexed publications to her credit, with more than 3300 citations and an h-index of 21. She is passionate about teaching, and has facilitated many workshops on epidemiology, research methodology, meta-analyses, GRADE tool and evidence-based medicine in India, Singapore and Dubai. She is also a recipient of the International Epidemiology Association fellowship in 2015.
